Holidays.... CRAP!

With my new found glory of being a phone technician... i get to endure the wonderful task of setting up holiday greetings for every one of our customers. This is a very simple task. However, I feel the customers are going to make it more pain staking then it needs to be. With the growth of the company, and the number of phones systems we have installed around the country, I fear its going to be a very long week ahead of me...

Dang....

Well, it has been a while yet again...

Things at work are wonderful. The company has made a few changes that I am really enjoying being a part of. Things will be so much better for all of us once things are going smooth and continue to show promise. Also got myself a nice raise! I am very happy with it and very happy where I am right now.

Things with my girlfriend are still very good. We have some rough spots now and then, but nothing we can't overcome. The fact that we take the time to understand these speed bumps and try to work on them, makes me love it even better. I am glad I can share my life with someone who is so wonderful and caring.

Another league has started for Team Fortress 2 at ArsClan.net. We have a ton of things going on and have seen great improvement with the league. ArsLeague.com is officially up and running thanks to turb0z and Delirium. It looks very well and functions just as good. Hit it up if you are looking for a small fun league to play in with friends.

Thanks

The week begins

After a wonderful weekend of family fun (no fucking drama), the work week has finally begun. It seems like it is going to be a rough one. Haley is working some overnights with the senior care center and will be around just as soon as I head to work. Won't be fun.

I began to play around with my firefox3 addons this evening. Got a few I really needed, a few I was trying, and a few I clicked on because the name was cool. Ok, not really. I did, however, end up getting about 10 add-ons and managed to not clutter my viewing area. No taskbars, toolbars, etc. just nice clean buttons where there was just empty space.

Have a good hump day

Arg.... stealing is bad mmmkay

I have posted in the past about how life has been good and extra purchases have been easy and justifiable... now its the opposite.

To start, I was robbed Tuesday... Yeah, broke into the house, grabbed my LCD tv (see post below for picture of said lost tv...) and playstation 2. The only part of this that is good, they didn't take the computer and two laptops that were right next to it.

Haley was not home, thank god, and was the one who discovered it when she did arrive. I am happy she wasnt hurt or put in any harms way. She called me asking where i put the tv... to which I was dumbfounded and started to get furious. I left work and rushed home while talking to the police. After 45 minutes, a cop shows up and "investigates"... no prints (until I asked her to), and couldnt lift anything except for one... that will probably be mine...

I had a lead or two, but police never followed up. After searching every pawn shop in town and making calls to bordering state shops, I have given up hope for any type of return.

However, it could be worse. Just glad that Haley is ok, and that there wasnt more gone. However, it has left me somewhat uneasy. I am having a hard time focus at work cause im worried about whats going on at my home. I am not sleeping very well thanks to fear. I am very very BLAH thanks to this event. Just hope it gets better and hope for things to turn back around to where it was a month ago.

Cheers

I love paintball guns!

Absolutely amazing and beautiful to watch with the high speed camera.

HDD Recovered! I can haz dataz

This is the hard drive that was in Columbia shuttle that crash a few back. The data was recovered from this hunk of metal and trash (or so it would seem). STORY: http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=hard-drive-recovered-from-columbia&sc=rss

It is amazing how far we have come in terms of technology. When hard disk drives were only in MB and now we can get TB! Just amazing.

In other news, the new TV is in the budget and in the works of receiving. The 37" Dynex LCD tv has been in the works for a while and has officially been added to my monthly budget. Getting a great deal and even better financing. Can we say, zero interest 18month? Yeah bitches.

Life is Good

So life has been pretty sweet as of late. The new job is awesome! Got a new desk and work space...

Pretty damn sweet if I may say so myself.

Another great thing that has come into my life is a wonderful woman named Haley. I hate to sound like that little omg myspace emo guy who has to spill the guts. However, this woman is worth every bit of it. She really is just the most wonderful person I have been with. We are pretty serious and have made some pretty serious decisions on how we want things to work. Yes, it is exactly that, work. We both want different things, to do things in different ways. We are both very stubborn as well. However, we are also able to compromise to satisfy each others needs and wants out of this relationship. So, its a big yay and really looking forward to the future with her.(Love ya babe)

I have also begun to quit smoking! No, she didnt make me do it. I did it all by myself. I just decided it was time to stop and save my health and money (MONEY!!!!). Its a little rough, I do cheat from time to time. However, its going very well considering how much I used to smoke. I am down to about 2-4 smokes a day, if any at all. For the most part, its just my nicotine gum and WoW (hehehe).

Hope you enjoyed!

New Life (Job)

I have had quite a few things come through on the positive side so far this year. I found a temporary job working at a warehouse for a national furniture store. This paid good money and gave plenty of hours. Lets not forget I am able to sleep, hang out, and really have no strict rules other then don't shoot up heroin in the store... perfect. However, I am leaving this heavenly zone to work in the field of my major, network support administration.

Over at ISTT Technologies, I will be starting my career in the IT world. It is entry level and they are working around my schedule at school until graduation. This is wonderful. An 8-5 job with weekends off, works around school schedule, and also decides to give me a pretty decent hourly rate till graduation (then it goes up and possible salary). All it took was a tie for me on the interview (LOL).

Thanks to all who have helped me get here so far. You know who you are.
